Hello Kissy I need some advice, I dont mind if you share this. Just keep me unknown. Ive been in a relationship with a man that is twice my age. In the beginning when he mentioned his interest... I really thought that I could never be with a guy that age. Even though my parents had a great age difference as well, I decided, why not? Now were broken up because were on two completely different pages as I am young and I have my own plans and he doesnt want to keep me back from my future... We are still really good friends and the love and the intimacy is still there but we try hard not to show it. Now its been several months since, and Im trying to move on from him I feel as though I cant. Been on one or two dates but because the level of love I have experienced with this guy... My standards has again raised tremendously!!! Im barely impressed! To me its feels like only the older men has it all for me, at least where Im from. Also they really know how to treat a lady? HOW DO I MOVE ON?! ------------------------------ MY RESPONSE: Thats just the way it goes sweetie.. You cant force your heart to move on when it wont. As time goes your feelings for him will eventually go away. Being in love is such a beautiful high. You cant expect to experience that with every man you date. Now dating may be a bit boring for you because that high isnt there, but try to have a good time when you go out. All you can do is keep moving forward. Eventually you will find someone that you love again. However the age doesnt matter, so dont get caught up in only looking for older men. Guys your own age can prove to be very exciting.
