Hello Neighbors, Last week the Post Office returned some mail - TopicsExpress

Hello Neighbors, Last week the Post Office returned some mail to us that someone had found and returned to them (thank you neighbors/community). With the returned mail they included a message about mail security and the following precautions to prevent identity theft: 1. Call the fraud unit of the three credit reporting companies: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. 2. Contact your creditors in case your name has been used fraudulently. 3. Report the crime to your local police or sheriffs department. 4 If you have had checks stolen or bank accounts set up fraudulently, report it to the appropriate check verification companies. 5. If your ATM or debit card has been stolen or compromised, report it immediately. Get a new card, account number and password. 6. Check your phone bill for fraudulent charges. Rick Araujo - Post Master, Capitola/Soquel Post Offices (831) 475-0301 Hope this ends soon.
