Hello Peace Family, As many of you are already aware, Heather Franks (our secretary here at Peace) is currently out to be with her son Blake Franks who has recently had surgery to receive a false eye. The procedure, which is known as Evisceration with Medpor Orbital Implant has been extremely painful for Blake. He has had considerable swelling of his eye which is currently sutured shut for the next two months. He is unable to sleep or eat much because of the overwhelming pain. Heather has not had rest and is taking shifts with her family members in caring for him. In an effort to help ease Heather’s stress during this time we are asking that the congregation pitch in to help them receive meals until next Tuesday. They are a family of five and have no food allergies.
