Cash only. Tickets are $50.00, Gold Renaissance is $40.00, Silver Renaissance is $45.00. You must show your card to get the discount. -The Leo Club will be collecting change during all lunches to help fund a leader dog for the blind. -If you are interested in applying for the Honors Academy for next year, please go by guidance to pick up an application. For $10.00 you can support Walker County Special Olympics (which RHS is sponsoring for the 1st time this year) and get a great pin. - Volleyball open gym will begin Monday after school. Ridgeland vs. Southeast Baseball The Panthers Baseball Team improved to 14-9 overall on the year behind the complete game pitching performance by Josh Walker. Josh struck out 6 and gave up just 6 hits in the win over Southeast Whitfield last night. Chase Crawford lead off the 1st inning with a hit as Tyler Hisey would sacrifice him over on a bunt, Tucker Holdbrooks reached on a hit as freshmen Austin Delay Sacrificed in the first running. Hisey scored on a wild pitch to put the Panthers up 2-0. The Panthers scored their 3rd run in the 6th inning off of a Tucker Holdbrooks Homerun that would be the winning run of the game. The Panthers next game is today against Southeast Whitfield for senior night. Tucker Holdbrooks finished 2-3 on the day, Tyler Hisey was 3-3 as Chase Crawford, and Tucker Hill all had hits in the game. Friday (4-18-14): -Baseball @ RHS against Southeast @ 5:30 (Senior Night) -JV Baseball @ RHS against Southeast @ 7:00 Saturday (4-19-14): -Chorus Cabaret 8:00 PM theater Lets make it a great day and Gooooo Panthers!!!
