Hello Rose I am sure you will remember me from the story in your first magazine which I wrote “Love at first sight.” I know its not what you do usually advertise for homes for cats but do you think that you could perhaps put out a plea for these two lovely cats they are just too precious and now starting to play with the toys lying around. They are enjoying regular meals which they did not have before. Apparently they were allowed into this home for people with bipolar with a patient who ran off with another inmate and they were left there some time last year. I don’t want to make a big issue of these people in the home, the main thing is we got these two lovely kitties out of there and now need to find them a “furrever home” . as I am getting a bit long in the tooth I cannot home them and already have 15 cats and four dogs. These are two young cats the vet put them at about 3 -4 years. I have more lovely photos if you consider this story. I understand if you do not do this kind of publicity really I do, it was just a brain wave I had to try and home these babies As told by Ann....... through Bubbles…… We would like for you to read our story. Our names are Bubbles and Pixie and we grew up together and love each other very much. Our owner took us to stay with her at a place for special people. Most of the residents there were very nice to us and we liked them. Then one day our owner took off with a boyfriend and we never saw her again. The other people who relied on outside resources fed us and some of them genuinely liked us and gave us TLC but nothing was permanent We had a lovely big garden to play in and we rested in the shade of the lovely trees. It actually was a lovely place for kitties. Then last weekend someone confronted Pixie in the bathroom; she experienced a horrible moment; she was kicked and apart from being very traumatised, also lost a tooth. Fortunately one of the ladies phoned her sister to tell her Pixie had been abused and could she arrange to collect us as soon as possible. By lunchtime on Sunday we bid our farewells to the nice ‘special people’ who were sorry to see us go. We were on our way to a new life. We spent that first night at Annie who does a lot of fostering for Kitty and Puppy Haven and on Monday we were moved to a ‘kitty hotel’. It is really nice and peaceful at the hotel. Ann, who owns the hotel, took us to the vet. My coat was so matted and became difficult to remove the terrible knots without causing me pain. My sister Pixie had to be checked over for any other injuries besides the missing tooth (that they found in the bathroom where she was hurt) she had another tooth removed which was wedged in her gum. I had all my hair shaved off and felt much better for that, we have been dewormed and inoculated and we are all ready to be homed to a “furrever home” which we would like to be in a safe place with a garden a warm bed regular food and lots and lots of love, we were found in the Valentine month and that makes us special we are “love cats” As we are unable to speak we needed Ann to tell our story, are you able to give us the love we so badly deserve. We were only guilty of being left behind.
