Hello, STX! New members, if youre interested and have completed the Membership Orientation Exam in the 1701st Academy, feel free to say you want to join up with the U.S.S. Galileo, our Flagship for the STX Squadron! If you arent aware of the Fleet Academy, it is a project that helps you get more familiar with our organization. The first course is the Membership Orientation, where it takes you through the member packet, by-laws, and Fleet Charter. Then there are several levels of Leadership courses, MACO courses, Science, Engineering, Intelligence, and other areas created from the lore of the Trek Universe. They are fun and good ways to get more informed of how the Fleet works, and if you do really well, promotions might come from your merits. We do encourage good participation in the Fleet. Going to Fleet-sponsored events, events the Fleet is involved with, and solo-scouting missions are highly encouraged! These are other ways of advancing in rank. Also, help out the Fleet in anyway you can! Go and help run a table a ship/squadron is running at an event, participate in parades and charity events, and just showing your love for Trek helps us grow!
