Hello again! I wanted to say thanks to everyone who shares photos and their knowledge. Its been very helpful. I have another (yes, another...) ID question. It seems like an odd bird for our region and Ive never seen it before so I just would like to be sure. I believe I spotted two female Western Tanagers on the Farm Heritage Trail around 350W in Lebanon on Thursday. I think this because of the wingbars...no wingbars on the Summer or Scarlet Tanager. Also, the yellow is more vibrant than the Scarlet and the beak isnt as big as a Summer Tanager. Its size was comparable to a robin. I hope its a Western Tanager because that would be another lifer for me. Thanks for your time!
