Hello all, In 2013, a friend of mine and I started a small project here in India, called The Indian Economist, to bring together young minds on a common platform to discuss opinions on issues around us. We started with a website to facilitate people posting their ideas and views on current affairs. With an overwhelming response, we started a novel time-bound Columnist Association program - and we gave an opportunity for anyone and everyone to apply to the program and have a chance to share publication space with others. A year and a half and countless small milestones later, today we have grown into a full fledged online magazine with more than 3 million annual page-hits. In our brief history, we have brought in more than 500 interns and 400 Columnists from across the world. In the current Columnist association phase, we have a lot of Indian college students writing on subjects like Economics, Public policy, International affairs, Culture and we have also published a number of original research papers from Economics graduates.
