Hello all you Lovely Womyn! HAPPY PRIDE Month! This is the time of the year when we are kicking into high gear to bring the information to you about all the amazing things that we have planned for the 2013 Ohio Lesbian Festival in September! We want you to take a look around the website (ohiolba.org) and see what you can expect, what we have been planning and working on and what you can do to take part in this fabulous place we call “Home” in September. We are offering Pride Month special Ticket Pricing – so get your tickets early and save some money as you plan for festival in September. We are working on a rockin’ performer line that we will be announcing Very soon. Merchants are lining up to bring their wonderful merchandise, services, and information to us to enrich our lives. If interested in applying to be a Merchant for 2013 Ohio Lesbian Festival, please check the website for details. Workshops are always a place to meet new womyn, to learn new information, and just have a great time. Have a great new hobby? Interested in sharing your knowledge topic? Just want to have a conversation with like-minded womyn about a particular issue? We encourage you to sign up to host a workshop. Details are on the website. It is easy and it is fun! If you want to advertise your business, organization or service with us in our program this year, please contact us. We also have opportunities to become a sponsor in many different levels, take a look here and see what you can do to help support the Festival so It can be the best that it can be! The Ohio Lesbian Festival IS NOT just for lesbians! We are a festival produced BY lesbians for all womyn. We have always and will continue to be open and inviting to all womyn, lesbian, straight, bi, queer, questioning, trans, young , old, able bodied and differently abled. Come and enjoy a space where womyn come together to celebrate ALL that is female. We strive to make the festival accessible to every womyn. We have an accessibility van waiting for you to get you where you want to be. There are accessibility camping areas, and we can provide electric hook up for womyn that need power for medical equipment. There are very limited electrical hookups,, so if you so please contact us to request electric hook up or any other special needs that we can help you with. We strive to make sure womyn who choose to come have their basic needs met so that they can fully participate. Camping has come to be a wonderful and cherished addition to our festival. It is a place to relax, enjoy your selves and your friends, make new friends, share community and fun with other womyn and experience the festival fully. It is a place to wake-up and share coffee while you prepare for another wonderful day of excitement. It’s a place to wrap up the long day of enjoyment by gathering around the many designated community fire pits located around the camping areas and meet womyn from all over. Camping this year is just $20 per site for the entire weekend. Plan now to join in the fun of camping at this year’s festival.
