Hello everybody! This will be my last update before i leave for PNG! I leave on Friday, so tomorrow for me and i am super excited! Its been a little stressful for me to get packed and everything but I’m getting through it and my team has been very supportive in taking time to watch me pack my bags and ask questions if i need to because i don’t have my mamma here to do that with me haha but in all seriousness it has been really good and encouraging to come together as an outreach team everyday this week and talk about outreach and get some preparation stuff done. Last week we had a speaker from Canada talk about missions and the Holy Spirit, which was really good, i was really challenged spiritually, emotionally and physically last week with just getting ready to leave on outreach and getting really anxious and being super sore from some of our last work outs. it was a hard week but i was able to get through it with some support around me! The teaching was a good reminder in just know that the Holy Spirit is there working through us and recognizing all the times in my own life that the Holy Spirit has been there to guide me and help my through times in my life. This week as been pretty much just been preparation and packing, we have worked through a lot of details and my leaders Kara and Riley have been able to get a lot of stuff worked out for us which is really exciting! Its been cool to see break through in a lot of things including getting visas and flights and everything all just fitting together after praying into it! I love my team so much and I’m really excited to see us grow together more and just go on this journey together. We have already had a lot of fun together and it has been cool to get to know each other and I’m looking forward to sharing this amazing experience with them. I know we are going to have tough times and really good times but I’m excited to see us come together, support, and encourage each other. Please keep me and my team (Kara, Riley, Andy, Felix, Jon, Laura, Eli, Fiona) in your prayers as we set out for PNG on friday, we will be in Port Moresby for a couple days and then we will take a charter flight to the top of Kokoda trail in the Oro province. Pray for safety, guidance, food, unity, and for myself to learn more about really getting my strength from God and learning more about the gifts that Go has given me including leadership and just really stepping out in what God has for me in these next 6 weeks! I love all of you, thank you so much for your support and reading my updates. I look forward to connecting with you when i get back!
