Hello everyone. As most of you know i live in Turkey and we are so busy with that mine matter. But today i saw 2-3 posts about a muslim world leader. As a turkish citizen i would like to pass the things i know about this muslim world leader. Please keep reading if you want to learn some facts. After Hz. Mohammed (Prophet of Quran) died, there comes 4 caliphates who were closely relatives or close people to him. They were called Rashiduns (wise people). But when last of them Hz. Ali was killed in a mosque(and this started a new era for muslim as a small group divided to a new sub-religious like catholic and ortodox christians) by his enemies their period was ended and caliphate had passed to Umayyad tribe. (I am not entering to topic about how they corrupted Islam (muslim religious) here but if any of you want more info about before and after them i will send you more info in a private message.) Umayyad tribe made caliphate a hereditary title (like kingdoms where it passes to son from father). In 750 Umayyads defeated them and captured caliphate title. In 1258 Abbasids escaped to Egypy and caliphate started to continue from there but they had no power over political matters. In 6 july 1517 Ottomans conquered Egypt and took over caliphate from there and brought it to Istanbul. After that Ottoman Sultans were also called as Caliphates. When our modern country founder Mustafa Kemall Atatürk (sur name means elder of turks which was given to him when surname law passed in parliement) entered to Turkish history and saved country from several countried during liberation war last Ottoman Sultan escaped out of Turkey borders. After war Atatürk said he ended Sultan periods and declared new Turkish Republic. Also he said sultan who escaped is not a caliphate anymore. As he was not interested about the title either, he chose a person to be caliphate. As this person was abusing this power Atatürk constitutionally abolished the institution of the caliphate totally on 3 March 1924. Since than some people tried to claim that they are caliphates but they never had support from muslim countries. So at the end i can say that there is no man with the title of muslim world leader and it is/was a total lie even if they said they are/were. Phew sorry it took long. I hope my words were a bit helpful to anyone who is interested and they can see the real picture of this world muslim leader title. Also i am sorry if this offends anyone from any sides of this discussion. I made this post public so any of your curious friends can read this if they want too.
