Hello everyone. Thanks for adding me to the group. I love seeing all of our tripaws in here. I wanted to introduce mine real quick. This is Pogo, a 13-year-old Italian Greyhound. It will be 2 years in February that she had her amputation due to a mast cell tumor that was spreading from her carpus up the leg. I resected the tumor once (I am a retired veterinarian), but I knew I didnt get it all. I could see the tumor wrapping around the ligaments:( So, I hoped for the best. Well, it regrew as I knew it would. Chemo pills made her sick and so did high dose experimental vitamin C therapy. I didnt want to put her through all of the radiation, so I elected amputation. She has been great ever since and it on some maintenance medications. Shes my little sweetie, sitting here watching me type;) Kim
