Hello everyone .There have been a lot of posts about the hell some of you are going through so I am going to post some of the things we did . It may take a while but believe me Housing despaired in the end and we got results . This is especially for Barbara Robyn McCulta whose story touched me deeply . First - bombard the Minister for Housing with emails . I will put it in upper casing but you use lower casing . [email protected] tell her what you have told me . You will get a generated email in return . Keep sending emails to her because she is the government minister in charge of Housing . After a while you may get a letter saying not to send her anymore because someone else is taking over the case - we did -- but I sent back an email saying I will continue to send emails because she is the landlady . Then if you go to the police they wont give you an incidence report but if you ring them ask for an incidence number . if they dont turn up ring the station the next day and ask for the sargent and report that the police never came the night before when you rang and tell him your incident no . Keep going to your Housing office and telling them , take your incidence report and show them .Find out where your Tenants Tribunal is , then if your getting nowhere lodge a complaint . they will send you a date to appear before them .and they tell Housing what they have to do . If Housing dont , take them back again . You can give Housing a lot of grief . It doesnt cost anything and you can lodge it on line . Another thing is ask who is registered to live in the apartment causing the trouble . we got ours out because the guy who was registered had moved out and given it over to 4 or five drug dealers . In the end Housing were so sick of us they sent a trouble shooter here and within a couple of months they were kicked out .If all else fails tell them you will ring A currant Affair Hope this helps and if you go into it NEVER GIVE UP . Its a hassle for a while but well worth it when it works .
