Hello everyone and thank you for allowing me to join. I get migraines, lately they have been made worse due to a whip lash injury from an auto accident. The headaches have been starting at the base of my neck and going to the front and top of my head. He has been giving me Norco 10 to help with the pain, as well as trigger point shots. A couple months ago he wanted to see how well I did with out the shots, migraines kept coming back. Three weeks ago, it was so bad I went home from work and ended up in the ER 4 days later for shots. When I told him he thought it was more a neurological problem and then told me that I shouldnt take narcotics for migraines. Has anyone heard of that before? Why prescribe them for me then tell me to not take them?
