Hello family & friends- With only three days left until “A & E say I do” we just wanted to send out a quick email to let everyone know about the wedding weekend festivities. As everyone arrives on Friday we are looking forward to a casual “meet & greet” downstairs at the Marriott City Center’s Bar Posta from 4:30-6:30. Come unwind and relax as we mingle and munch on light appetizers. If you’d like to continue on after 6:30 there are plenty of local bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Some of our favorite places are Raleigh Times, Landmark Tavern, The Flying Saucer, or Crank Arm Brewery. Since the wedding venue is thirty minutes away and parking very limited we have arranged for two buses to transport us to and from the Highgrove. Please meet in the valet circle, outside the entrance of the Marriott Hotel no later than 2:45pm to board the buses. After the wedding we are going to continue the celebration back in downtown Raleigh, starting at The Raleigh Times which is located at 14 E. Hargett Street. Everyone is welcome to join us!
