Version 1 of the Fly-N-Run adapter allows you to undersling your Ronin on a crane or cable or rotary platform! ..then remove it and continue on foot. It also allows you to use the Ronin Overslung in certain situations (this adapter relys on friction and may twist under heavy top loading or cornering) Version 2 is rock solid and will not twist.. thus allowing for hood mounts..and any situation where there are large side forces on the Ronin.
