Hello fellow couponers, I just wanted to let you all know why dollar tree is so picky with coupons. I am an assistant manager at a dollar tree in manteca so i know what i am talking about. I would first like to say that accepting coupons is a very new policy for us. the reason that Dollar Tree employees might call the manager over or double check the coupons is because dollars trees get a lot of name brand items that are trial size. And as most of you know most coupons exclude trial size items. I would also like to say that dollar tree does limit to four like coupons a day.another reason that people might think that the Dollar Tree is very harsh on coupons is because if the coupon is not the right size we will not get the money refunded to us by the manufacturer and so it will be a loss for the store. And just so you all know dollar tree will be upgrading our registers so that we can just scan the coupons and that will make it easier on everybody.
