Hello friends, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing this... As of very recently, Shayne and I have decided to go our separate ways. Without going into details I can say that we both agree this is what we want and that it is better overall. Obviously, we are both very sad about the situation, but just because it is sad, doesnt mean it isnt the right thing. Shayne and I are still working out the logistics and are working to untangle our interwoven lives, so that we may start this new chapter of our lives, completely unattached. I am keeping our dog, he is keeping our cat and that is something that also pains us, as we both love our animals and hate to be without either. We have decided to remain Facebook friends and do not wish to simply erase the years we spent together. We both learned and grew from our time together- it is just time to move on and learn and grow as individuals. Shayne is an amazing man and I will miss him and his incredible family dearly. This being said, I am looking forward to entering this new phase of my life (as is he) and am perfectly contented in our decision. I know that this is the best way for me to be happy and want nothing less for Shayne as well. Please feel free to message either of us with questions. When we talked about how to post this difficult announcement, I agreed that I would tag him in it, since it really is the last thing we will be doing together as a team. There is no resentment towards each other (at least not that I know of! ) Seriously though, I think I can speak for both of us when I say we are 100% okay with this and even with each other. For those of you who feel hurt that you were not told by me privately, I apologize, but my new phone hardly has any numbers in it (great timing right?! lol) This being said, if you wish to text me, please include your name.
