Hello guys! This Spring Break (2/28-3/8), we are thinking about participating in InterVarsitys Abolitionist Plunge in Columbus, OH! The focus of this plunge is on fighting human trafficking--what better way to spend your Spring Break?!? :D This is currently tentative, but we would like to see how many people would be interested in going so we can start planning. Below is a more detailed synopsis of what this trip will entail and links for more information: InterVarsity’s Abolitionist Plunge is a week-long immersion into the world of fighting slavery. Participants will do street and hotel outreaches, meet with survivors, interact with government officials, take a field trip to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, learn how our consumer choices fuel the global slave trade, and see innovative programs that are making a difference in people’s lives.
