Hello, hope youre having a great weekend!! Want to hear something kinda cool, yet weird and strange and sad all at the same time? The Maple Leafs honoured former coach Pat Quinn who passed away last Sunday with a video at their home game against Washington. It was Torontos first home game since Quinn, who coached in Toronto for seven seasons, passed away last Sunday, Nov. 23. The video is below. And keep that number, 23, in mind. Now here comes the interesting part. When Quinn played for Toronto, he wore No. 23. In the November 23rd home game against Washington: 1. The Maple Leafs scored with 23 seconds left in the first period. 2. They scored again 23 seconds into the second period. 3. When Washington scored its first goal of the game in the second period, Toronto scored again ... 23 seconds later. 4. This was Torontos 23rd game of the season 5. And.... yup the Maple Leafs fired a total of 23 shots on goal. For me, an old agnostic hockey lovin goalie, well, all of that was just too much too ignore.... this world sometimes works in mysterious (and wonderful!) ways,,,,, and this one, well it finally got to me......
