Hello to all of you new members! Welcome! We are all here to get our officer back in our neighborhood. Were working to get the city council and city manager to reverse the unjust termination. While that happens, were creating a bridge between police officers and the citizens that they serve in the hopes that, by doing that, we become a more united community. How Officer Martinez has been working for us - unblemished - for years and Mr Wesson has been a terror to our community for years. I also encourage you to welcome officers in your communities and get to know them. Let them know who you are too. By forming an alliance, we can make all of our neighborhoods safer and more kind for everyone. WE ARE MEETING ON MONDAY THE 8TH at 8PM at Stonedeck Pizza Pub in Deep Ellum to review the situation and discuss our visit to the Dallas City Council on Wednesday December 10. Tee shirts will also be available at the meeting if you havent gotten one, yet. The Tee shirts are also available at the Dallas Fraternal Order of Police on Washington as well as the Dallas Police Association on Griffin. WE NEED EVERYONE at the city council on Wednesday December 10 by 9AM. I will be speaking to the council and we want to pack the house - overflow it - with people in support and wearing their Jesus is my Homeboy tee shirts. Its going to be in the big room on the 6th floor of City Hall on Marilla street. A lot of bodies in that room will show them how many are behind this. Remember - the city manager CAN change this and he listens to the city council so be sure your council members hear from you regularly.
