Hello to all our #TSBRTroopies Late yesterday afternoon we received an email from the rescue coordinator at Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center - a beautiful young Labrador needed transferred out of the shelter to a rescue. ...has a very sweet lab in need of transfer. She is about a year and a half old. She has a possible carpal fracture on her left front leg. The leg is also very swollen and in need of immediate attention. ...She is a very sweet girl and everyone has fallen in love with her. The officer who picked her up and the veterinarian who has been treating her have begged me to make sure she gets out of the shelter. Please let us know if you think you can help this wonderful girl! Time was certainly of the essence - foster or no foster, this girl (now known as Tampa) needed a strong dose of #HarleysHOPE if she was going to have a chance! Our Chair of Animal Welfare immediately sent photos and medical records for review by one of our Vets, and our team put a plan in place to get her picked up. Tampa was picked up this morning (Thank you Gary) and is currently at #AnimalHospitalonTeasleyLane for medical care and evaluation. As soon as we have an update on the extent of her injuries, treatment and prognosis, we will share.
