Hello, whippet family.. I havent posted much in the last few years since I lost my sweet Skylar.. Just been lurking and enjoying your pics and stories.. However, I have a reason to post again! 2 weeks ago I adopted this baby girl (Seraphina) that was rescued from an animal shelter where shed been dropped off the day after Christmas.. She wasnt thriving in the shelter environment and they didnt think she was going to make it, so a rescue group removed her and was trying to rehabilitate her when I was notified by a mutual friend of the group who recognized her as a sighthound... The rescue group identified her as an IG.. But at only 4mo old her legs and paws are already bigger than my IGs and her mannerisms are more whippet like.. Anyway, wanted to get the groups guesses as to her heritage (not that it matters in the least but its fun to guess! Only time will tell if shell get any bigger but Ill be sure to keep everyone updated on her growth!).. Like I said shes approx 4months old and weighs 6 lbs now.. Let the guessing begin! :)
