Help! So our neighbors leave for DAYS at a time, leaving their two dogs wandering and unfed. Several weeks ago we noticed their black dog was VERY pregnant. Here recently, her owners disappeared yet again; there are zero puppies, she is full of milk and we can see EVERY bone from her ribs to her hips and spine. They have been gone at least four days this time, and Lord only knows what they did with the puppies. Is there a shelter that I can take her to? I dont want to be accused of stealing someones dogs but its heartbreaking to see then hungry and my dogs fight with them or Id take them in.
