Announcing that Maria Furtado, Executive Director of Colleges That Change Lives will be joining me for the Nov. 9th College Prep Program sponsored by the Manatee Public Libraries. Colleges That Change Lives, Inc. (CTCL) is a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process. CTCL offers events in 25 metropolitan locations however none are scheduled in Florida this year. This is a program not to miss! Maria will bring a message that will help college bound students and their parents think about college attendance in a new way. Focusing on what truly constitutes the best college fit - a place that develops a lifelong love of learning and provides the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life beyond college. My presentation will offer tips for the nuts & bolts of preparing for, selecting, applying and, most importantly, financing a college education.
