Her night was so good, but the humans day... She said something about Murphys Law. Dont know what that is, but I do know she dropped a lot of things today. One of them was my yogurt. She had just bought it and took it out of the bag to put in the fridge... but it never made it to the fridge. When she had finally cleaned it and came back into the living room, she almost tripped over the Egg-cersizer. I had just been eating from it and she didnt expect it to be where it was. She also bumped her knee pretty bad and didnt appreciate it when I wanted to make biscuits on it a little later. I made up for it with sandpaper kisses. She did appreciate those. I got kisses too then. This afternoon the human met the neighbor from across the street outside and talked a little with her. They talked about Smartie. The human hasnt seen him for a while now, but remember the problem he had with his tail? According to the neighbor that is a lot worse now. From the tailset his tail is bold for about maybe 5 inches now or so, and then it gets normal again. The skin looks normal and there is no blood, but its not normal. Not good. But nobody can do a thing. You cant even get close to Smartie. Poor thing. I hope hes not in a lot of pain or itching. The weather was lovely today. Grey a lot, but sunny at times too. And dry all day! Dushi finally could stay out for longer than half an hour. She came home to hear the alarm for feeding time go off (her timing really is purrfect!) right when she came in and stayed in from then on. Shes done a lot of napping on her pillow on the cupboard, but also snuggled with the human a few times. You know, next to the human with her front paws on the humans leg. Thats how she likes it best. The human filmed me coming down from the cat tree today, so I could show you Im having a hard time to get from the 5th to the 4th level. It went pretty well this time, but you can still see I had to be very careful. I now often lie on the problem level so I dont have to come down to it. But I spent most of the day on the couch, either next to, or on the human. Jinx has been here several times since Dushi came home. He snuggled with the human on the kitchen floor again, ate in the dog crate again and... played a little! The human promised Shirley a few cat toys and today she tried one Dushi and I both never use on Jinx. Its a rod with a ball at the end of the string. Jinx actually tried to catch the ball when the human made it move around him! So that toy is going with him when Jinx moves. Another good day is coming to an end. Again the human wants to go to bed early, but well see if she actually does it this time.
