Here I am, afternoon of the 4th day of #DovBaron ‘s #Authentic #Speaker #Academy for #Leadership and my oh my…… I have been so focused on getting things right and running back into my brain to perfect things that I loose grounding to myself and do not connect with my message or my audience. I was asked to deliver a message to my target audience and the first time was so unconnected and whiney that I was made to do it all over again, and thank goodness I did. With a little coaching I was able to present something that was connected in a couple of moments. My brain likes to take over pull me out of those moments where I am truly powerful and truly present because it is uncomfortable in that place. I know that this is what I have to work on….I need to practice truly connecting to myself in every moment.
