Here a question for probably parents. But I would like some opinions if u rnt a parent but have read them when u were middle school. (Idt I have many ppl on here that young.) I just finished The Giver. Kids r reading it in 6th grade. There is one part in particular I found disturbing and didnt really think it should be part of a 6th required reading. The Hunger Games is another series that I question would be suitable for the age range. Im not a fan of 10 ur olds reading about having to kill other kids to survive. Thoughts?
