Here are a few bits of history regarding Hanoi Jane Fonda, of which some folks might not be aware. In my opinion, the woman has not changed ideologically since her radical beginnings back in the 1960s, regardless of any apologies she is supposed to have made to Vietnam veterans because they vehemently opposed a film project of hers. The first of her quotes on the linked webpage is the one which sealed it for me. It was communists who shot and almost killed me. Why would I pray to become one? Lately, Ive noticed a resurgence on television of her films, with some old movie channels playing the more popular ones several times in a month. Seems to me that there is a concerted effort to bring her back to respectability after all her decades as a pariah for those youthful acts of treason. Today, I saw her being interviewed on a morning TV show for her impressions of the Presidency of J.F.K. on the 50th anniversary of his assassination, and how it affected her. I almost lost my breakfast when I saw that. Is this still my country? I wonder. boycottliberalism/biographies/Fonda.htm
