Here are some ideas for how to corral your wet sponges and other dish cleaning stuff around your sink when these items arent in use. You can see even more ideas for sink organization here --> home-storage-solutions-101/sink-organization.html The top photo is from a reader, Vicki, who said, this is my method to manage wet sponges and liquid soap at the kitchen sink. I use a small stainless steel colander which allows water to drain. The second picture shows the Simple Human sink caddy in action. (affiliate: amzn.to/1ss5Ea8) Many companies make sink caddies, and they all have basically the same idea behind them, just have a convenient little container to hold these dish cleaning supplies so theyre not just out, loose. No matter how you choose to hold these items, make sure that it has enough air flow to allow your sponges and other items to dry between uses. No one wants to use a nasty wet sponge that has started to stink, yuck! So Id like to hear how you organize items around your sink. Or better yet, show me. You can submit your photos directly below, into the comments, or onto the page. The best photos will be featured here on the page and also in the Home Storage Solutions 101 Home Organization Hall of Fame.
