Here are the acceptable ways to get a sticker for doing something gnarly for our beloved sticker chart. Getting Some “GNAR”LY Sticks These are the official ways to earn stickers for doing something extra rad. Make sure you have a witness because are you really getting rad if no one is there to see it? 1. The Acrobat. a. Do a standing backflip. Obviously you have to land it. 2. The Pull Up Master. a. Do 50 (good quality) pull ups in a row. In a row means you can’t come off the bar or use any part of the body other than the hands to rest. Rest can only be ten seconds. Have to be hands forward. 3. The Pull Up Guru. a. Do 5 (good quality) one armed pull ups on each arm without stopping. 4. The Whipper. a. Take an especially intense whipper on lead climb. Can be indoor or outdoor but has to be on a route within a half grade of your max grade and can’t be a planned or expected fall. The people watching are always the judges on intensity whippers. (Bonus sticker if it is outside) 5. The Onsite Rage. a. Onsite a route on lead that is within a half grade of your max grade. Can be indoor or outdoor. (Bonus sticker if it is an outdoor trad route.) 6. The Rookie of the year. a. Any person that wins a comp in their division (without sandbagging) in their first year gets a sticker. (Bonus sticker if it is your first comp ever!) 7. The Clean Sweep. a. If you win every comp in your division (again no sand bagging) you get a sticker. You have to go to all the comps including ours unless you are a route setter. 8. The Shenanigan a. This can be something funny or an impressive stunt/trick. You have to have at least 3 people that agree that the shenanigan is worthy of a sticker and you can earn at most 3 stickers (one sticker per shenanigan) each year. The sticker is not awarded if any other person can repeat the shenanigan within 48 hours.
