Almost everyday in the afternoon, our group will visit the host family praying rosary, singing hymns while children offering the bouquet of flowers to Lady Immaculate. Catholic Groups Action for Mary of Mayfaire Community turn each of the 31 days in May into a charming honor to the virginal virtues in Flores de Mayo, the flowers of May fiesta. Our community is proud to present the “Flores De Mayo & Santacruzan the QUEEN of Filipino Festivals on Saturday, May 31, 2014. It is a colorful Pageant celebrated in the Philippines during the month of May in remembrance of the Virgin Mary & St. Helenas search of the Holy Cross. It is the parade of beauties and Queens in their dazzling costumes. In addition, it is an opportunity to deepen our faith and reflect on the meaning of the cross in our life. Let us all experience a part of the Philippine culture as it unfolds through this colorful procession without going to the Philippines. Another year...another spectacular event!!!
