Here is Ron Smith test-firing our new SEI barrel. This barrel has our new proprietary button rifling, 1:10 twist, manufactured from chromium-molybdenum (chromoly). The barrel Ron is shooting is an 18.5 Medium Heavy Profile. We will be offering our barrels in 18.5 STD Profile, 18.5 MED HVY Profile, 22 STD, 22 MED HVY, and 16 SOCOM Profile. This barrel performed VERY well and met our expectations. It shot under MOA @ 100yds in high wind. We will be testing the other barrels to assure they perform the same. We are moving very fast on this, and now that we have them shooting the way we want them to, we are very close to releasing them to the public. On a side note, we will also be offering a fire-lapping service on our barrels if requested. There will be a fee for this, but we have found in the course of our barrel testing, that even a barrel that shoots 1MOA can be brought in even tighter when fire-lapped. Also, before anyone says anything, this is a test rifle. So there was no rear sight assembly installed, no top handguard installed, and no this is not a stainless steel barrel (as mentioned above).
