Here is my Graduation Impression during the LEAP Graduation (for ALIVE) held in DepEd Marikina - June 3, 2008 All praise is due to Allaah and as such, we praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness..... To my mentors, Maam Vicky Mayo and Maam Vernel Dianco, our coordinators , Maam Merle Fontinalla and Sir Leo Cargullo, our technical staff Sir Ed and Maam SJ, my fellow graduates and to all our visitors, as-salaamu 3laa man itaba-il hudaa. Good morning to all of you! I praise and thank Allaah for making this day, for allowing me to be a part of this great event---a major turning point in my life. For indeed this program---23-Day LEaP training--- opened for me and my fellow graduates, the gateway to a lot of good, allowing me to grow more as a person, equipping me with useful knowledge, building my self-confidence and enriching me with great experience. Coming to this training has not been an easy one, for verily, many are called but few were chosen. For me, the qualifying exam was like passing through the eye of a needle. And from the feeling I had to fight for leaving my son and other obligations behind, the inconveniences of traveling and the hardships of gaining knowledge. All these difficulties however become insignificant as compared to the vast learnings I have earned. And I can truly say, that every single moment of my stay has been worth the sacrifice. I thank DepEd for this program and for its effort to help shape better future, in fulfillment of its commitment to give every Filipino child quality education. I am a proud recipient and beneficiary of this effort, being a PEPT (Phil. Educational Placement Test) taker, and once again today, as one of the successful graduates of this training. I am also very grateful for the opportunity to be under my dear mentors, who gave us generous servings of their time, effort and knowledge. They have been a model of good and effective teachers, that are to be emulated. And their legacy will continue, as we implement their teachings inside our classrooms, in shaa Allaah. And of course, in addition to the goodness of this training, is the chance to meet my beloved brothers and sisters in Islam from the NCR (National Capital Region), and regions 4 and 5. Our hearts beating in unison-to serve Allaah by teaching the Muslim children better and effectively, through the Language Enhancement and Pedagogy for the asatdz. May Allaah bless us all and thank you.
