Here is some footage from yesterday testing the new Shimano Xpride 71 hvy casting rod. The Xprides are amazing, so light, powerful and so sensitive. The torsional rigidity of the rod is awesome and it cast as straight as an arrow. The rod loads up so nice on the hook set but there is still so much power and backbone in the rod. In terms of lightness, I believe they are as light or maybe a little lighter than the NXR. I had the rod paired with the new Shimano Chronarch Ci4 plus with 40lb blue Powerpro Superslick braid. Here is one of nice largies that the Xpride had no problem pulling out of standing reeds.
