Here is something that means a lot to me. People with Albinism - TopicsExpress

Here is something that means a lot to me. People with Albinism usually have it rough in Africa. First of all, majority die at young age due to skin cancer because duh? its always sunny in Africa. For those who are well off, they maybe be able to afford sunscreen and protect themselves, but many from lower income families have to go through the ordeal of skin cancer and die at very young age. There is no Government program in any African country that supports its albino citizens, but there are many government programs that gives many politicians allowances to take their wives shopping in Europe 5 times a year. This is something I personally believe an organization like AU and even UN can enforce. Have a charter that MANDATE all governments to provide free sunscreens and eye check ups for free to its citizens with albinism, failure to do this risk sanctions from the UN or AU. This is a matter of life and death to these people. On top of this natural calamity, there are countries that are notorious in its mistreatments of people with Albinism. Tanzania is the WORST when it comes to this and very embarrassing for a country in 2014 to believe in witchcraft that them that Albino body parts is somehow important for wealth creation and for that SHAME ON YOU TANZANIA. Whether is a few hundred doing it and not the whole country, a few hundred is way too much, leave a lone ONE. So if you are African, respect and stand up for your fellow Africans with Albinism so they can also simply LIVE!
