Jukkasjärvi Ice Hotel - Sweden Found near the small village of Jukkasarvi, Sweden, total population 1,100 people & 1,000 dogs, the Ice hotel is open from December to Mid April every year. Made with 1,000 tonnes of Ice from the Torne river and 30,000 tonnes of Snow mixed with Ice to strengthen it, it covers 5,500 square meters. And when it comes to April, the Hotel melts and (hopefully) the water finds its way back to the river. It also has a chapel... When you are staying, you will always want to stay warm and snug with your partner! Feeling warmer yet??
