For potential adopters and Rescues: Once in a while, the Madera Animal Shelter has volunteers that can transport pets to rescues or to their new homes. But, its not always the case, so if you do not live in Madera or even in California, it’s not a sure thing, but please ask if transport can be done for you by a volunteer. If you live in Florida or somewhere far from California, we have had volunteers drive the adopted dog to the air port and the dog was flown to their new home.
