Here they are details on look one Vintage Eclectic To start off, I wanted to hide the leather bedhead, So I added our vintage patchwork wall hanging as a new bed head. On the bed I used our Ajrak pillow with mirror work ,which has pompoms and small bells so it tinkles which I LOVE. I left the other pillow so you guys could see how freaking awesome the wall hanging is and how gorgeous my new and improved bedhead looks =p I then added one of our patchwork table runners over the quilt as a sort of a throw for a more layered look. The bedsheets and quilt I used are all a solid chocolate brown. The bedside table is a DIY from Ikea(Its the RAST chest of three drawers), which I painted, polished and all that jazz. Ive hung our vintage Pathani hat on top of the bedside table and stacked some of my favourite reads, on which Ive put some random finds over the years, the rocks on the books are from a beach I visited on vacation, the bottles...well I like collecting bottles just cause :p ,the pinecone is from a potpourri bunch I received as a gift on my wedding, and the small gold antlers are from @urbanoutfitters, (they broke and I need to fix them). At the foot of the bed is the MOLGER bench from #ikea, I just draped a fur throw on it, also from ikea and put under it the mustard cushion to add more colour, which is from #urbanoutfitters (I LOVE MUSTARD). The tray on the bench is free because I stole it from my mother when I visited her in Egypt, and again some random bottles next to a jar full of almonds incase I get hungry to complete the look. The rug under our bed is a gift from my father from one of his trips to Afghanistan, which is called Ala Makhmal he told me that each carpet has its own name, its own history, I love that! I adore products which have history and character. So thats that, always add a bit of yourself to your home decor, it makes it your place, like here I added the rocks on the books from the first vacation I took with my husband. The bottles I use on parties with candles in them, easy cheap decor! the tray reminds me of my family in Egypt, and of course the carpet which is just so awesome!
