Here we go again with this asshole SuperSajuuk. Now I know what a job feels like. Wow, this is stupid: SuperSajuuk: Thats why the advice given by GamingCanBeFun is useless. He doesnt understand that LPers cant do what he says because the content uploaded by LPers isnt 100% owned by them, which would mean that partnership for gamers is pointless. Hence why he should stop posting that advice as if everyone should do it (gamers cannot because it would make their partnership redundant). So continue to monetise gaming content as normal. Its what Im doing. GamingCanBeFun (my reply): Useless? No it isnt... Games are always fine. 1, Fullscreen (our network) has said we can monetize MOST games except certain Microsoft games... If a controller is in ur hand u CAN MONETIZE IT. Obviously if u do Lets plays ur playing the whole entire game, which actually hurts the game market: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lets_Play_(video_gaming) that involves recording playthroughs of games with a video capture device or screen recording software while offering an audio commentary So I wouldnt advise doing LPs, unless it says u can for THAT specific game. Think about it, no one would go buy, rent, or try that game if they watched the whole thing... Here is why gaming videos are fine: youtube/watch?v=OkNNkiiKFjU Another reason why games are fine on youtube: youtube/watch?v=iJoKsQf90yQ From 7:06 to 7:58 Oh n also if u get any matched 3rd party for Lets Plays, dispute it n tell them its User Generated Content... If the claim still gets reinstated, then Idk what to tell u... By the way, I see someone watched my video n disliked it... Its cool. I do know what Im talking about. Especially, since I got an email from Fullscreen themselves telling me I can upload copyrighted content with music I like, but I have to acknowledge it... All my gaming videos are fine... I have absolutely NOT one match or claim on ANY of my gmaing videos... N I got over 380 videos on there.... When I did get a match, it was the AUDIO (imagine that)... The copyrighted music... So mute the game, strip the audio out, do something about it. Its not that hard. Heres an example... If I did a playthrough of Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag which is own by Ubisoft... N I get a matched 3rd party... Dispute it, give this link: ubi/US/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=TermsOfUse and tell them its USER GENERATED CONTENT. Summary n thank you for the couple dislikes Ive gotten. Dislikes dont matter when I know what Im talking about. Keep disliking. I got all my evidence n proof in these last 3 posts so say whatever u want to say SuperSajuuk. Being in this longer than I have doesnt mean u know more about youtube than I do. Thats like saying an elderly person (since hes been in the world longer) knows MORE about computers when he just now started using one and tries to badger everyone about it. Ive actually been on Youtube longer than you. This is a new account I already gotten over 300,000 views total in just 3-4 months, which is GREAT! I had another account that got 2 copyright strikes when uploading 2 videos from movies and the REST were guitar covers. Ive actually been on youtube since 2006. So anything u tell me is completely irrelevant and beyond the point now: If u do video games n anything matches, dispute it n tell them its USER GENERATED CONTENT and it says so on the main game sites in their Terms Of Use: ubi/US/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=TermsOfUse #6 (this is for Ubisoft games as example) If that AUDIO matches, that means youtubes Content ID system detected that the audio is not yours and its someone elses. Which it is... The music is not yours. So either A.) Delete the video cuz if u dispute it ur gonna just get a claim reinstated message right back on that video after disputing cuz y? Disputing it is trying to tell them all %100 (imagine that in the email we all got) of the video is urs. Nope... Its not, cuz the AUDIO, so dont dispute it, unless its a video game. Losing battle. B. Strip the audio out and put public domain/royalty free/copyright free music in ur video (isnt this why Fullscreen gives us this? Oh, I forgot). or C. Just acknowledge it, but then that means u wont be making money off that video from the views.... I had to do this for all my Guitar Hero videos. y? Cuz Fullscreen emailed me back telling me its OK to acknowledge these, since the audio is not mine... Well now.... Awesome. It still helps me with views and my audience.
