Heres a cheery one for your morning. In 1927 at a physics meeting in Brussels Belgium attended by all of the leading physicists of the time including Albert Einstein they came to conclude -- in a paper entitled mind over matter -- that experiments in quantum phusics where there is a human observer conducting the experiment could not be relied on to be accurate NOR even be replicated to achieve the same result twice or conclusion again because the human observers beliefs about the outcome of the experiment were playing a major role in the outcome. That the only way to guarantee a result was proofed truly accurate was to leave all human observation out of the room where the experiment was being conducted; which was obviously a problem. Because someone had to actually conduct the experiement. It wasnt going to conduct itself. But as soon as they added even one physicist into the room -- let alone more than one -- the experiments would start to collapse, everything would begin to revert back to 0s and 1s. They concluded that consciousness or MIND plays just as crucial of a role in experiments dealing with matter in quantum mechanics as matter does, maybe even moreso, becasue of its ability to influence matter so easily. Therefore the only way to get truly accurate conclusions from experiments was to fully remove any and all possibilities of human consciousness from being involved in any experiments that involve matter. Einstein eventually concluded that something he termed spirit must exist in the universe as a Force like gravity or nuclear force that all human beings have access to and they are exerting their effect on physics experiments through their consciousness by being tapped into this spirit force that effects matter just as the other forces do. Furthermore, he observed that everyone seems to possess an equal amount of this conscious connection to this spirit force. (by Force here he is referring to the four (in this case five) known Forces in the known universe: Gravity, ElectroMagnetism, Strong and Weak Nuclear Force; asserting that Spirit is a fifth Force in the universe, one that all consciousness has equal access to and thus this explains why human consciousness can control the outcome of experiments dealing with matter: i.e. theyre inadvertently harnessing the power of this Spirit Force.) Surprise Surprise....
