Heres a link to my story from todays New York Times on the Minnesota Historical Societys ingenious Civil War tour (how, you may ask, does a state in which no Civil War battles were fought even have a Civil War tour?) I took the tour with its creator, Danielle Dart, while I was in the Twin Cities last Fall to run the Twin Cities 10 miler. It was fascinating.
