Heres a picture of the children with their father from earlier this evening when we did our exchange ( as well as one with my husband). He asked me to take a picture for him because he didnt have one of them together. I took the picture and then sent it to him. I was going to delete the picture but my heart wouldnt let me. Things are not always easy between my ex-husband and I, however, he loves our children with all of his heart and I need to be thankful he wants to be a part of their lives. He recently has come to a place in his heart where we can have dinner together with the children and my husband. He actually spoke the words that hes grateful for Alfred (my husband) because hes been a steady rock and support for the children and I. I guess what Im trying to say is never give up hope that someones heart can be touched. That they can see the beauty in life and never give up on forgiveness. We all have to forgive because we must all be forgiven. What a blessed woman I am that my children have a father and a step-father that love them unconditionally and strive to make their lives the best they can be.
