Heres a question that I honestly dont know the answer to - but I figure its definitive answer might provide a community service. Does Equity eligible still exist in any possible form? The reason I ask is that I see that listed on resumes and submissions a number of times every week but - my understanding, at least - is that the program was phased out years ago, and morphed into the EMC (Equity Membership Candidate) program. Now, people can buy in to AEA membership if theyve joined a sister union (and been a member for one year, I think?) - but should anyone be listing themselves as Equity Eligible these days or is it just incorrect terminology? Thoughts, braintrust?
