Heres a scary thought...I think Google and Facebook have already developed technology for fairly reliable facial recognition. This will improve. It should not be super difficult from here to create an app which crawls the web and for any person sends you all pictures of them which appear on the web. Now think about all the pictures which have been uploaded to the web from lost/stolen cell phones. You dont know what they are, but you figure no big deal, theyre hidden away in the mass of the Internet. Ill let you work out the rest of the implications. On the bright side, maybe this will make people of necessity become more comfortable being who they are.
