Heres an update from Freyas travels in Nepal, she just finished an 8 day trek to the base camp at Annapurna in Nepal, narrowly missing the blizzards and foul weather...luckily!! It was the most amazing thing Ive ever done in my life! Had to wear the same clothes for 8 days straight -but was sooo worth it! It was actually much easier than I thought.. we trekked for about 6hours a day and just overtook everyone so we were meant to finish in 10 days but did it in 8. The scenery on the way up was so cool -went from rice fields and rivers -to kind of deserty hills -then full on rainforests and waterfalls -then into huge open clearing just surrounded by massive mountains and monsturous rivers (had to cross the most unstable bridges), this looked like somewhere dragons would live -then finally base camp was so breathtaking, just completely surrounded by white snowy mountains
