Heres an update on my ED, hes stll in a light coma with very brief moments of Simi awakeness . Hes still on a breathing machine , but can breath on his own. He can also squeeze my hand on command and last night for a couple of minutes while I was telling him I love him and miss him, he rubbed my hand repeatedly to comfort me through my tears.... It was my 1st clear connection to him that was clearly conscious it made me sooo happy and sad at the same time. Sometimes I dont know how to process the future and Im so overwhelmed with the present . But that was one of the most moving moments of my whole life...He cant turn his head but he does follow me with his eyes . Im at the hospital every night and grateful for every evening ..... Hes only 44 and may never be the same or even close to the same ever again......, love and live , laugh and surprise yourself everyday with no regrets,just in case ;) Thank u for all your love and support to both of us, we are both on an unexpected and life changing journey! Im so full of gratitude for everything and EVERYONE in my life OXOX
