Heres another shameless plug for American Mastiff puppies. This morning, as Asher was in crazy mode and was more than ready to play rough, we ran into some people who wanted to pet him (which as you know, often happens). I always give a warning that hes still a puppy and might try to chew a little bit, and that he will most likely drool all over them. These folks were familiar with Mastiffs and loved him instantly. When the tiny little girl wobbled over to pet him, Asher immediately fell to the ground and gently army crawled toward her, despite all of his energy that he had to get out. The mom just about melted and thought it was so sweet and amazing. I so often hear from people that he is going to be something extra special. Despite all of his hyper-ness and destruction...I agree that he is something special. Also, after losing our sweet AM Korah in December, the thought ran through my head that it would be a great time to rescue a dog from the humane society or something. I LOVE it when people do that and it is SO needed, and maybe one day we will as well. But for now, I wasnt ready to give up having an AM in our lives. So thankful for our little Asher man. Keep loving those AMs and keep adopting pups in need - theres always something so special in each of them!
