Heres what I have on DVD. Suggestions are welcome. Legacy Collections: These all have about an extra hour of bonus features about the making of, and commentary audio you can play with the main film. This extra stuff makes these the best versions you can get. LC - Frankenstein(1931); The Bride of Frankenstein(1935); Son of Frankenstein(1939); Ghost of Frankenstein(1942); House of Frankenstein(1944) LC - Dracula(1931) (with the new 1999 Phillip Glass score option), and the Spanish version, which is about a half hour longer than the English version; Draculas Daughter(1936); Son of Dracula(1943); House of Dracula(1945) LC - The Wolf Man(1941); Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man(1943); She- Wolf of London(1946); Werewolf of London (1935) Bride of the Monster(1956) - part of the Ed Wood collection. One of Lugois last movies. This is a terrible film, as are all of Ed Woods productions, but great fun to watch. In addition to these I have some others, like Hitchcocks Psycho, and a few other more modern ones that dont really fit in with the Classic Monster genre. I have some Hammer films on the way, and a few waiting in the wings, too. Heres whats coming: Hammer Horror Series (Brides of Dracula / Curse of the Werewolf / Phantom of the Opera (1962) / Paranoiac / Kiss of the Vampire / Nightmare / Night Creatures / Evil of Frankenstein) (1960) The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958) The Abominable Dr. Phibes / Dr. Phibes Rises Again! (Midnite Movies Double Feature) (1971) I have waiting: LC - The Mummy(1932); Mummys Hand; Mummys Tomb; Mummys Ghost; Mummys Curse Hammers Horror of Dracula(1958) - starring Christopher Lee as the count and Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. Island of Lost Souls (The Criterion Collection) (1932) Bram Stokers Dracula (Collectors Edition) (1992) - not one of the old classics, of course, but in my opinion the best version of the novel ever made. Coppola did a brilliant job directing, and Gary Oldman is pure genius as the count. What else do I need?
