Here’s the deal . . due to the high pressure area (anti-cyclone) northeast of the Philippines, plus the the northeast monsoon (amihan) bringing cold winds the country, there’s a great chance that the storm will avoid the Philippines and move along towards Japan . . The cold winds make it kinda difficult for weather disturbances to intensify. And if it does turn into a typhoon, it would not be as strong as Yolanda . . because of the cold weather . its strength should subside when it hits the country. Hmmm I guess this is me saying, “Don’t worry too much.” We would still have to wait for further developments these coming days though.
